Bah. My respect for Obama diminishes somewhat. I want to believe he won't continue this, and revert back to a more positive campaign now that the John McCain's skirmishes with reality and the Palin phenom are wearing thin.

Yeah, McCain started it and went beyond the pale, but even this kind of dabbling is against what Obama purports to represent. I shall remain wary.
