Four days ago Megan trounced a liberal blogger on the stimulus. There are some great arguments on her part:

Never debate Megan on economics when all that I have on hand are a bunch of half-memorized half-baked Democratic Party talking points

Argumentum ad desperation:

1) Something must be done!
2) THIS is something.
3) Therefore, THIS must be done!

It helps when THIS fits your ideology and is something you want to do anyway.
