Israeli settlements are illegal

Let there be no confusion.

  1. Who cares? Every settlement could disappear tomorrow and people like Walt would still be pretending that Israel is the main problem.

  2. Israel is not "the main problem", but it does have problems. To suggest that Walt "pretends" otherwise is specious.

It's folks like you who prefer to personally disparage anyone who offers a criticism of Israeli policy and pretend nobody should care about what the country does wrong. As if plugging your ears and saying LA LA LA LA ever solved anything.

    Grow up.

No kidding. No country is perfect.

"To suggest that Walt "pretends" otherwise is specious."

Walt's attitude toward Israel is pretty clear. Again, if the settlements were gone, Walt would find some other reason to blame Israel for a lack of peace in the region. I'd give that a 99.9% probability.

    Not everyone, just Walt.

"and pretend nobody should care about what the country does wrong."

I guess my point was just too difficult for you to grasp. The point was that settlements, illegal or not, are not the main obstacle to a peace deal in the Middle East.

    "Grow up."

Try taking your own advice. You are the one being childish. Just re-read at what you wrote.
