Now that Palin has unexpectedly resigned without completing a single full term as governor of Alaska, can we stop pretending she's a serious candidate for president?

    Unfortunately she has fanatical support among the GOP base. It's just as strong as the insane hatred of her on the left. The Palin-worshippers will back her regardless of almost anything.
