ReplyDeletedouthat is right. he makes a great point that cheney's defeat would probably have lead to a quicker round of serious soul-searching in the party. the gop is probably going to need to suffer stinging defeats in the next 1-2 election cycles before they realize that the all-southern, all-know-nothing nub that they're left with ain't gonna win 'em any more elections.
