Continuing the theme, Michelle Malkin showcases hateful stuff from the left.
I'm not surprised by any of this, but it's wrong to equate it with what parts of the McCain campaign have tried to do by painting Obama as a dangerous arab muslim terrorist. Yglesias points to a good example.
Answer me this: what has the Obama campaign done to encourage hatred of McCain or Palin? I'm not aware of anything in particular; it seems to me that all the hatred Malkin rounded up would exist regardless of what Obama and his campaign said.
Not so with the right's hatred of Obama: McCain-Palin ads and rhetoric like "palling around with terrorists" (note the plural) have fomented it.
