Via the weekly Standard:
It's an interesting perspective, although the captions are way over the top.
Jonah Goldberg at NRO asks: "When will the Obama campaign denounce all this hatred being unleashed by its negative rhetoric?"
Curious...isn't this anger/hatred being unleashed by Republicans' own actions? (Bush incompetence, Iraq war, Palin farce...)
I'm not saying it's entirely justified -- not about to condone jeering at what looks like a peaceful march down a street -- but it doesn't seem to me like there's anything the Obama campaign has done to unleash this anger/hatred.
The only thing directly Obama-related that I noticed was the chant of "Yes we can", which is hardly negative rhetoric and seems like a reasonable reaction to McCain-Palin campaign signs......from the perspective of Obama supporters they may as well read "No you can't".
