Whether Republicans will offer a compelling protest choice, I don't know. It could well be a freak like Palin. But in that case one should sit 2012 out or vote 3rd party.
the chart is actually misleading as it doesn't normalize the bush deficits to erase the effect of the shady accounting practices bush used to mask the true deficit under his watch
